New Way To Use Contact Lenses 2019
1. Prepare the lens
Remove the lens from the pack and place it on the end of the finger used to insert the lens. Make sure the lens is in the right place, it should have a bowl shape. The lens should be placed on the flat part of the finger for easier application.
2. Place the lens on your iris
Keep your eye open by positioning your middle finger on the lower lashes and holding your upper lashes against your eyebrows with your index finger. For the right eye, use your right hand to keep your eye open and your left hand to place the lens. For the left eye, simply reverse the process.
3. Insert and center the lens
When applying the lens, look straight ahead in the mirror and try not to move or wink. Once the lens is in place, wait a few seconds for it to “get used” to your eye, do not fix any specific point then look left, right, up and down to allow it to sit comfortably. Finally, gently remove your finger from your eyelashes and gently close your eye.
If you feel discomfort, it may be due to an air bubble. Keeping your finger on the center of the lens, move it gently to evacuate a possible air bubble stuck underneath so that the lens adapts to the shape of your eye. You can also close your eye and gently massage your eyelid with your fingertip to move the lens to the center of the iris. If your lens is still uncomfortable, remove it, clean it with a suitable solution and go back to the first step.
